44 North Canned Coffees - NEW!
You asked and we figured it out! Our delicious 12 oz. canned coffees are now available to ship!! This canned coffee project has been in the works for over 2 years and we are pumped about the result. Details below:
- The cans are 12 months shelf stable from brew date. There is a "best by" date on the bottom of each can.
- The cans do not have to be refrigerated. Ideal storage conditions are 65º degrees and under.
- The coffee is brewed in a "rapid chill method" where the technology can reduce the temperature of brewed coffee from 140ºF to 40ºF in around 60 seconds. This method keeps the flavor preserved and quality high.
- This is not the same as cold brew because it's brewed hot, but we are finding that this method of rapid chill preserves more fruity and floral notes than cold brew.
- The coffee shandy is different and wild and SO very tasty! Think coffee lemonade! The components are 70% lemonade, 30% coffee. Fun to use in mixed drinks too! See recipes below!
- The can was designed by Julie Moringello of Stonington and features local artist Eugene Koch's wire sculpture artwork pictured in a setting that we all know and love, against the granite rocks and autumn colored ochre seaweed.
The 12 oz black canned coffee is made with our Myanmar "Three Khuns" coffee beans and the 12 oz shandy is made with Bolivian AIPEP Coop beans.

Canned Shandy Soda
1 can Shandy
Club soda (or tonic)
Ice cubes
1 can Shandy

Ice cubes
Pour canned shandy over ice and top with club soda and lemon wedge. Super refreshing! Garnish with a lemon wedge, optional.
Black Canned Coffee Martini
2 ounce 44 North black canned coffee
1 ounces vodka or tequila
1 ounce coffee liqueur (such as Kahlua or Mr. Black coffee liqueur)
Ice cubes
2 ounce 44 North black canned coffee

3 whole coffee beans for garnish
Optional, but so not necessary, this is the perfect creamy martini with out either:
¼ to ½ ounce simple syrup (adjust to desired sweetness
1/2 ounce Bailey's
1/2 ounce Bailey's
Put all ingredients in a shaker with ice, except for optional garnish coffee beans, and vigorously shake until shaker is cold in your hands. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Top with coffee beans garnish.
