The fall air and clarity is remarkable right now. That 'liquid cup of joy' known as COFFEE is especially feeling necessary to warm the hands on chilly Maine mornings.

We realize it has been a while since we were last in touch so we wanted to send a hello and re-cap the high points of of summer

Did you know back in June we procured a beer and wine license for our Stonington cafe? This summer we launched later evening hours and offered small plates (including stuffed dates and dolmas from Stonington Baking Co., foccacia bread from Tinder Hearth, and dipping dukkah spice from Cheryl Wixson). We had beer and wine from awesome purveyors including Oxbow, Rising Tide, Foundation, and Baxter Brewing Company. It was so fun! We aim to do it again next year and incorporate "themed" evenings that include busting out the art supplies while sipping a cold brew.

In other news, we are going to be open on Saturday's this winter in Deer Isle. Saturday OPEN hours will be: 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon. Coffee will be flowing and Tinder Hearth pastry will be available.

The Stonington cafe is now CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. Thank you for support, the season was outstanding and we look forward to seeing you again in May 2017.

And with all of that, we are feeling in need of a short rest, so the Deer Isle cafe will be CLOSED during the week of October 17 - 22nd, re-opening on Monday Oct 24th at 8:00 a.m. Loads of gratitude to all those who have traveled this journey with us in coffee fan-hood and support. The beginning of December marks our 7th year in business. Please know we feel the love!

Happy Autumn & Warm Cups of Coffee to All,

Melissa, Megan, and Team 44
