Just as summer was making its appearance, 44 North began the transition into the new space at 7 Main St in the village of Deer Isle. On June 8th we watched the Diedrich IR12 roaster as it was hoisted 60 feet into the air by our crane magician, Andy Gray. We knew that our 7 year residence in the historic schoolhouse -- today known as Seamark -- was complete.
We opened for coffee business on June 16th. Our year-round business hours are:
Monday - Tues // 7:30 am - 4 pm
Wednesday // 7:30 am - 2 pm (closed early for coffee evaluation and staff meeting)
Thurs - Fri // 7:30 am - 4 pm
Saturday // 8 am - 2 pm
Sunday // CLOSED
