Please join us for a late afternoon event featuring coffee from the Democratic Rep. of Congo and a talk / slideshow with MDI based nurse-midwife Linda Robinson. Linda, who spent a year in the Congo with Doctors Without Borders, will share her stories from the small remote village of Shamwana and the trials of work within a community traumatized by a decade of war and famine. Snacks and free Congolese coffee will be provided. We would love it if you joined us.
